When I sit down to watch something, I want to chill, not have to read everything the people say...otherwise I'd rather just read the manga if it had one. I want to actually watch what is happening on the screen, not have my attention diverted elsewhere. Most people say the same thing in the english dub fan club on MAL, that's why they watch dubs over subs.

The only thing I don't like about dubs are when the actors suck. Also jap actors sound bamf sometimes. But dubs do make it easy to multitask while watching and/or let you focus more on the animation instead of reading.

Like some of the actors for Burst Angel, jesus they ruined that anime with some of them sounding 20 times worse than my own southern accent...who the fuck talks like that? Sounded like cooter fucked his cousin and whatever came out did the voice work.

Don't the same jap actors do the voices for shows, a small pool of them? I like some of the english voice actors a lot anyway, like Jamie Marchi and Colleen Clinkenbeard cause they sound hawt...and nobody in their right mind couldn't like the BAMF that is Steve Blum (WOLVERINE!).

BTW, watching Panty & Stocking is like tripping on about a dozen different drugs at once I imagine. What a weird show...in a good way.

Nooooo sir. There's tons of VAs and many can really change up their voices. I'll post up some different characters with same voice actor

Some english ones do get old but there are some good voice actors like Christopher Sabat and Crispin Freeman who can change their voices where it doesn't even sound like them. Wish there were more like them.
