That could actually be an interesting discussion...

1987 Cadillac Deville: IIRC about 40,000 miles, 1 year, gave it to my girlfriend (now wife), she kept it for a few years but I don't know how many miles. If I knew then what I know now, I'd still have that car now. I could now properly fix everything that was wrong then; and I'm not afraid of getting stuck roadside anymore.

1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE V6: 154,000 miles, 5 years. Liked it when it was almost brand new (bought in 1998 with 16,000 miles), hated it after a while. At 130,000 it needed the engine replaced and then I REALLY resented it. Loaned it to aunt at 170,000 so I could DD the 2002 GMC Sierra my family business bought, then aunt bought it from me. She got it to at least 200,000 the last I heard. I feel better about that car knowing that someone got some happy use out of it.

1997 Ford Ranger 4x4 4.1: Not a lot of miles, not long. Hand-me-down from dad, but the same issues that made us not want him driving it also made us not want me driving it. Also we had money, so in 2002...

2002 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 5.3 ecsb: Bought brand new, still have. 200,000 miles and shitloads of rust because I didn't care for it properly. I bought it out of the family business in 2007 but it's always been my truck.

1980 Buick LeSabre Limited coupe 4.1: Now 51,000 miles. Grandparent hand-me-down, received with 35,000 miles and lots of sun/dry rot as well as fuel/brake line corrosion in 2005. Put 3000 miles on it then parked it because I couldn't afford to insure a toy car. Last summer converted to stick shift and made into my DD.

Should I bother with my travel trailer, lawnmower, wife's cars, company vehicles that weren't specific to me, and cool rented equipment I operated a lot?
