Even if a plug/wire craps out, it would still start, it would just run like shit.
No start is usually starter, battery, or fuel.

Your battery terminals clean and connected well? On my truck, the negative would come loose enough that it wouldn't start but still tight enough for lights and shit to turn on.

Does CV have a solenoid under the hood for the starter? Could be a failed solenoid. Can ghetto-test it by shorting it with a screwdriver and see if car starts...be ready for sparks.
