basically anything that requires anything over first aid is considered a recordable incident.

recordables can have vast effects on workers comp, insurance rates, company's reputation, etc.

nah lol he actually is vice president of this company that specializes in transporting rigs for oil well drillings but he did say he was a consultant at one time.

finally tomorrow is ergonomics presentation. ready for 5:00pm as thats end of ergonomics class and class at 6:00pm. wednesday is free. thursday is nashville interview day.

thursday interview schedules: 2:30pm, 3:15pm, 4:00pm. that will be a long day.
friday: ergonomics training 8am-11am.
sat/sun: write 2 papers.

next week is set sail for thanksgiving, and head home wednesday morning at 6-7am as i have to be home for a doctors appt in the afternoon.

if thats the same bradley university i am thinking of...thats in peoria, illinois, about 2 hours from mt. zion.

interviews aren't bad to be honest. the only interviews that suck are STAR type interviews. chevron uses them i know, but thats only place i have dealt with them. star = situation, tasks, actions, and results of any certain situation in your past or an event in the past.

a hint to deal with STAR interviews is to plan out everything you have done in the past. for example, i used evernote on the computer and it syncs automatically on the DX (droid x). it makes you think about stuff before going into an interview.

almost went to bradley for a manufacturing engineering program, but chose a better route or at least to me it seems.

there is a niosh report that just came out stating like there will be 25xxx HES/EHS jobs, but only like 10-15xxx new professionals entering the workforce.

man I'm having trouble now trying to figure out what exactly I want to do with my degree. I could do procurement but I would also like to manage transportation at a company starting off as an analyst then moving up to director where the big money is.

man I think I'm going to have a lot of spare time next semester. That saturday class is only 6 weeks and once I'm down with it I'll be on campus 2 times a week. I think I could get a small job working at a warehouse maybe. Would be helpful. I know Academy sports and outdoors has a warehouse not too far from here.
