If under 300 mins and have time machine to go back to last week, go with Virgin Mobile $25 plan.

As for mins, don't forget you could use a VoIP app to make minute-free calls on wifi (and maybe even on 4G if equipped).

Almost all of my calls are incoming so IDK if I could pull off the VoIP thing. Don't want to give work funky number or not be able to reach me when not on WiFi.

wish I could get me and wife onto $30 plans. We're paying just over $150 right now. Dfw to save $90/mo immfo

For VoIP you could port your number to Google Voice, then you can get the calls on VoIP and regular voice carrier.

Gotta agree with Cez, TMo blows...or did when my wife had it some years ago.

I saw that $30 monthly plan. Seems to be only thing that's worth it. Use way less than 100 minutes.

You'd have to buy retail or used TMo phone. Or maybe some ATT phones. Either way, can't use the $99 and $199 sales they have all the time since those require contracts.

afaik you can use your existing phones on the $30 plan so you only have to buy new phones if they need them (or if they broke theirs during azn rage fap like yours)

If you use more then 100 minutes then you can put some extra money on the account. Think it's like 10 cents a minute or some shit like that.

so Feb was the worst, if I had 100 mins, would have to pay for 720.. $72.. and since MOST of the minutes are M2M, a lot of them are to my wife so she'll probably have $40-50 of minutes too.

TMo got 4G here recently so I've been thinking about getting a One S or something and switching to the $30 plan as well.

If most of the minutes are with your wife, you can definitely use a VoIP app without even having to use a Google Voice number/port your number.

I just tell my wife to save it for home and chat when we're sitting around staring at each other with nothing to say.

but honestly, even if I were to get a more expensive prepaid tmo, it would still end up cheaper. I rarely go over 2gb, my wife rarely over 100mb. So to get the plans w/ unlimited minutes, that would be $60 and $50. Could get both $50s if I didn't care about 4G speeds but since HSPA+ doesn't rape battery like LTE, would probably use it.

$50 + $60 would still save use like $40 a month.

Not as good as saving $90 pero still

One every year brah. Not as bad as Moto or Sammy in general releasing 20 different models per year

Since you flash roms and stuff, will recommend GNex or whatever the next Nexus is. Plus, usually cheaper to buy from google than to get a TMo phone at retail.
