I originally bought the E3, but then thought about it...emailed the company and told them I wanted the E5 amp...this was after the E3 had already been shipped out. I am returning the E3 and paying the difference for a E5. This will be primarily a workout setup due to the size and relatively cheap cost. The amp will be hooked up to an iPod Nano (that was originally Cez's.).

For a somewhat decent portable setup, after I get a career, I will use the same iPod or my iPod video (5th gen). OR...I may leave that iPod video in the truck and get another 5/5.5 gen iPod Video to put rockbox on it. As far as a portable amp, I am looking at the Headstage Arrow. I may splurge and get a pair of fischer audio DBA-02, if I get a good amp.

How much is the E5? Seems like a lot of people like the E7 and its about $100.

The E5 is like $22-25 on eBay...you can find them a little bit cheaper, if you want to buy from overseas sellers.

It contains a clip on the backside though...unlike the E3, which will come in handy.

Think Im gonna go with the E7 and Audio Technicas when I have a little more cash and maybe try those cheap in ears.
