bad thing about lucas is it is like bandaid and over time trans will die either way. you can try changing fluid filters and shit can just be that but if not id say is rebuild time. how many miles now?

if it has 200k on it, dont change the fluid, chances are it wont pull its self out of the shop. People are horrible about transmission servicing. They need the fluid and filter changer every 50k mile with normal driving. I bet your car has never had it changed. 90% of people dont and I dont get that. Its no different than oil in the motor.

Which reminds me, I need to change my trans fluid/filter whenever my car is back in service.

Never realized it but WTF, why am I not lazy with that shit? I'm so incredibly lazy in everything, except for stick shifting and sex.

straight shifts impress school girls, automatics win races...never seen john force pullin gears. Used trans for that car should be cheap.
Juan, Change trans fluid in the CV...friendly reminder.

Just said that a few posts back
Sent from my Note 3 using Tapatalk ---------- Post added at 09:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:10 PM ---------- Mexichanic was supposed to show up with his friend today, didn't show up. Wish I had the cash to take it to a reputable shop and get some answers. I forget if I mentioned it but a coworker and I grabbed an old spark plug and pulled each coil, put the plug in it, touched it to ground, and cranked. They all sparked so the could look like they're good. We tried unplugging injectors while it was running to listen for differences. Couldn't find shet, none really made much difference.
