Honestly I can't imagine who would have been good.

President is a terrible job. There's two kinds of people who want to run for President:

1. People too dumb to know how awful it is. They should not be allowed to be President.

2. Corrupt power-mongers. They should not be allowed to be President.

Basically, if you're willing you should automatically be disqualified.
