add some airbags and rollover reinforcement or whatever. They could even reshape it like they did in 98/99 if they wanted to. No reason to get rid of the most popular car they ever made.

gm suffered so bad doing this in 96. ford will have to be bailed out in about 5 years now. speaking of new stang is ugly and new f150 is a gmc with a different grill.

I finally saw a non-CV TPD car the other day but they were crowded around the grille and I only saw it for a few seconds. I couldn't tell if it was a Ford or Chevy. They look pretty similar at a quick glance.

Yeah, the wheel actually LOCKING doesn't really ever happen while driving, at least I haven't seen it happen to anyone. But if the engine dies while driving, the power steering stops and you have to manually turn it and brake until you start it again. It's hard as fuck to steer (compared to power steering) so it probably felt like it was locked. That or mechanic was BS and I am full of shit and it will lock on you again soon

Errvrybody should know what their car's steering and brakes feel like with stalled engine before it's too late. Once a year, while on an empty road, turn off engine at 50mph and try to swerve and step on the brake a few times.
Also practice shifting to neutral and alternative stopping in case of stuck throttle and/or brake failure.

It's funny but I'm still srs. People who don't have the reflexes, or at least the conscious knowledge, of what to do and how their car reacts end up crashing when shit goes wrong. Know how your car feels and how to handle it when the engine is stalled, when the brakes fail, and when the throttle is stuck...or increase your risk of dying.

Lol I know, I've had my belt snap on the freeway going 65ish, twas fun. Coasting to a safe spot, stopping with foot power, and getting an arm work out all at once.

They stopped making them.
Then a few years later they started making a new, totally unrelated car and recycled the name for it.
