Sorry, I got it! Activated SIM over the 800#, then it only took a few minutes! I played with it until it was dead, so now its charging. I'm OCD about the battery, I don' want to ruin it so I let it die completely before charging it

Even if you could have a real recovery and no source roms kinda like the fascinate it would be better. At least you wouldnt have to worry about bootstrap and shit.

Tried GB, titanium backup wouldn't work so i am back to 2.2 running Rubix 2.0.1 at least i didn't have to SBF

Yeah, source/vanilla/cm would be nice but if we at least had a legit recovery I wouldn't have to bootstrap, sbf all the damn time, etc. I think I had to sbf my D1 ONCE lol, I've sbf'd this poor bastard more times than I can count.

i just FIDIL and reinstalled everything from scratch. only downside is I lost my angry birds progress

There is no Roms yet and I like rubix cause of the battery life...don't know how the battery life on GB is...i might switch back though

GB be running smooth so far and I know some don't like it but I find the new blur fairly seks. No idea on battery life because so far I have had it on the whole time downloading apps, setting things up, syncing shit, etc. Wouldn't be fair to judge it.

I got it mostly set up now. Just need to remove a little bloat and I think I'll be set until a decent rom comes out.
