Seems likely. Get a kit with a reusable hose and a gauge. You're really supposed to use two gauges but you can get it done well enough with one. This is the kit I got:

My system is converted for R134a and that's what I used. The stop leak had UV dye but I didn't look for it since it seemed to be holding.
