I used to do my own, then Jamie's mom did them. Last year HRB did them....I got a whopping $600 back last year. When I did them myself I got at LEAST $1300-1400

refund really depends on ur filing status, how much you had withheld and if u itemized or not. You could compare the taxes u did with the rest and see what the difference is. If you own ur home: mortgage insterest, property taxes and mortgage insurance (Not property insurance) can be itemized. Some other stuff can be included but those are the biggest ones in a basic tax return.

house is paid for :blah:
My dad owns the property so he claims it on his taxes.

I think my thing last year was I had 3 W2's from different jobs. That hurt.

---------- Post added at 11:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:39 AM ----------

BUT..I did take out a loan to fix the house up. Claim interest? Its not a HELOC, just a basic loan.

2005_Silverado 12-02-2009 05:41 PM

ah damn....sucks about the house. You had 3 jobs at the same time or at different times? If you had the right filing status you shouldve been ok. Also, if ur soon-to-be ex-wife was working, that couldve jacked with ur withholdings

Yup. The new ones aren't too bad to ride in. I'd love to have one to take out on the beach and up in the mountains when it snows.

2005_Silverado 12-02-2009 05:45 PM

sounds like ur tax return should be pretty easy....ur not self employed either...no reason why you cant do ur own.

yeeps be good weekend vehicles I think...dont think Id DD one. BPC had a wrangler and was a tight fit inside but fun to go out and hit the trails

I had 2 at the same time, the other w2 was from the job here at the bank.

I filed single 0. I dunno though.
