Hey, friend and coworker of mine is getting DROID today. He wants me to root and overclock it. All I need to do is do the clockwork mod and install the overclocking kernal, right?

Clockwork requires you to already be rooted. If they are getting a new Droid then it will have 2.1 on it and you'll have to use RSD Lite to flash an SBF to it. I haven't had to do that yet. I think James had to do that with his, he can help you with that.

rofl they always have if you choose Debit before you swipe the card. If you don't then it automatically runs it as credit. Occassionally I'll get a pump that asks me after I swipe, but not too often.

If it runs the card as credit it will ask for zip. If it runs it as debit, it asks for pin.

That's how they have been around here for as long as I can remember. :shrug:
