Just got back from company Christmas party. Had a few drinks. :drinking: Stood around and tried to look respectable. Ate some yucky hors d'oeuvres.

Is on sprint. Dunno model, left it in the truck and I'm not fucking going out in that cold to get it.

It has a GPS and a nice mapping program that can do the route and show you where you are...but it can't pan the map as you move along it, and it can't read the directions. Fucking worthless.

So I went out to fix 2 problems on my truck. One is fixed, the other I'm still confused about.

The P0101 code was taken care of by swapping out my MAF with the spare one I had. Before putting the spare one in, I cleaned the shit out of it with contact cleaner. The original didn't look dirty to me but it might not be BAD necessarily so I kept it as a spare. If I ever need to use it I'll clean it and try it before going and buying another.

The other issue is with my subs. Randomly they will stop putting out any sound and then they'll come back randomly (sometimes a few seconds later, some times a day later). Today I checked all the connections and everything looks fine, I also watched the amp when the sound cut out and it is still it up so it is getting power. It's not overheating either because it was cold to the touch, cold in the truck, and hadn't been playing for long. I don't think it is the ohms either since it has been bridged the same way forevah.

So the only things I can think of are either the amp is screwy and stops putting out audio or the HU is screwy and not putting out the audio.

BTW when I lose audio to the subs for a day or more, turning the stereo on/off does nothing, cutting the power to the amp does nothing. It's pretty weird :imo

Seems to do it more when the volume is pretty high but turning the volume back down doesn't turn them back on.
