1) Didn't get the car. It only had minor cosmetic scratches and whatnot that are normal for a 96. Ran strong, drove great, everything worked, etc. But I decided to sell my truck on my own and then get a car. Just for shits & giggles I asked them what they'd give me for my truck as a trade-in. $2200 :hahano:

2) Saw this yesterday. I give you GATORLAC:

It is a cream color and that darker strip that runs around it is dark brown with alligators and gator-skin airbrushed in it. Center caps on the wheels are also brown with airbrushed gator texture. Actually says GATORLAC on the back and has a gator to the left.

Tried getting an Evap Valve Solenoid for my truck to fix my CEL but no luck. It seems that this is a more common problem and Advance Auto had 16 of the part I need but they are all gone :suicide2:

Yeah, its for the evap for the gas tank. I had it done once under warranty last year but its doing the same again and I had AA parts check the code and it was the same one so I'm going to fix it myself. GM charges $200+ and I can get the part for $22 and do it myself.

Thankfully being lifted makes accessing the part much much easier.

No tank dropping thankfully, it is tucked up next to the tank on a bracket. Simple fix if I could just find the dang part.

No Pep boys near by but we do have Napa which I am going by at lunch.

Most of the endemic mammals in this country have been wiped out or pushed to near extinction since Europeans arrived. Taking animals for legitimate reasons is not what I'm arguing about, killing them for the sake of them being a "nuisance" is just plain wrong.

God forbid someone put forth a LITTLE effort relocate the animals versus killing them. :nono:
