Apple promised to make their iPad affordable but who can resist a little upgrade here and there. The problem is you can only upgrade through Apple so you're stuck to their outrageous prices. When I bought my HP Mini 311 last month I was able to get the base model for $399 + tax & shipping. When I received it I was able to order a larger hard drive and more ram and the 3G card all online and install it myself for half the price of HP. All without breaking the warranty because HP had a self upgrade panel on the back that lets you do all this.This is the kind of freedom you get with a PC... Affordability without sacrifice.

Everything is failing on my seized nut. Why can't my stuff ever go like everybody else's - I struggle a bit and eventually it works. No, instead, it just won't work.
