You're talking to the king of broke and cheap, but even I spring for spare keys. If my schedule wasn't so regular (home and work and that's it) I'd keep a spare key glued (with silicone caulk) to the underside of my truck somewhere, just in case I lock my keys in while I'm somewhere weird.

For easy cars like your Tempo, you walk into any hardware store or Home Depot/Lowes/WalMart's hardware department and have them copy your key.
