Can't seem to accomplish anything today. Man, taking a week of vacation is nowhere near long enough.

I've seen a few clips here and there. Never assumed I'd like it.

I took NINE DAYS in March and didn't accomplish anything.

Usually when I take vacation I sit on my fat ass and don't even try to do stuff. This week I'm actually doing stuff, just failing a lot. :pissedfist:

Friday my wife called "wtf is Security Essentials 2010? it keeps popping up and saying we have viruses and updates and blah blah blah" :fp:

Removed it, ran malwarebytes a couple times, seemed clean. Went to Google something and all links redirected to ads and pop ups appeared every now and then. :fp:

Ran ComboFix and it found a Rootkit fml. Got that shit removed and so far I think i'm clean :chuy:

Need to wipe that bish and install W7 soon. It has been a LONG time since it has been formatted and given a clean OS install.

I had that happen to me at work last week Wan. Freakin anti-virus would not even let me run combo fix everything I opened popped up a new window that said it had a viruss. Put in safe mode, ran combo fix, restarted, ran malwarebytes and finally got it all. Spent 2 hrs of my day working on that though.

So it's browser windows, all containing the same page?

Bitch is clean now as far as I can tell, unless there is some shit hiding out. The current installation on that computer sucks. It is installed on the E: drive and the secondary hard drives are C: and D: :roflmao: I need to move everything I want to keep to an external or something and just wipe the whole thing and start fresh.
