Speaking of driveshafts, how do I remove a stubborn shaft? The one on the S10 responded to light prying with a screwdriver but the one on the Buick hasn't been disturbed for 30 years and won't come off. I even took to whacking the U-joint with a hammer as hard as I dared, no luck.

the slip yoke in the buick must be siezed. have you tapped on it up closer to the tranny?
im assuming its an older RWD buick |
pero no soundz when I'm watching pr0nz... :(
|
Yep, it's my 1980 LeSabre.
I only tapped it at the rear U-joint, not anywhere near the front. |
