Last thing I did to the Droid before I gave it to my wife was install JRummy's Kangerade on it with the pink theme. My wife loves it.

I am running Eris with a VERY plain rom so that it runs as fast as possible until X :drool:

Some Droids don't like 1200-1300 :shrug:

But it shouldn't hang until you set it to 1200+ in SetCPU. If yours wouldn't boot than the kernel you tried prolly isn't compatible with the rom.
