dont think they couldve matched the pay, honestly. small, local firms dont pay much compared to regional offices. Had a college buddy start 10K below what regional offices were offering....he took it cuz it was no travel and he has 3 kids. Oh well...I texted my old supervisor who gave the head hunter my name, explained what happened, dont want him to get burned.
