Hell I could have bought SRT-8 Cherokee wheels for $200 last year. They have the wrong offset in the rear though. I'd need 4 front wheels. :jester:

Woman pleads not guilty to bribing deputy

RANCHO CUCAMONGA - A woman pleaded not guilty Monday to charges that she bribed a San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy after she was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Marizella Perez, 28, was jailed at the end of her arraignment in West Valley Superior Court after a judge set her bail at $250,000.

Perez spent the night in custody before posting bail Tuesday morning, according to booking records.

She is next due in court on Sept. 18.

Perez, of Rancho Cucamonga, allegedly offered a deputy $1,000 to free her after she was arrested in September in the area of Foothill and Day Creek boulevards.

A breath test measured her blood-alcohol level at 0.287, more than twice and a half the legal limit, according to investigative reports.

As she sat handcuffed in the back of a patrol car, she reportedly offered the deputy the bribe.

The deputy drove the woman to an ATM and she withdrew $200, promising the rest of the money in the morning, according to investigative reports.

WaB.
i haz

SarkOzy 03-10-2010 07:50 PM

this may be a stupid question, but.......

WL needed a new pitman arm last year so i picked up a cheapy from vatozone because i needed it right then. teh keyslot is off a little so my steering wheel is slightly turned to the left going in a straight line. pero firestone won't just set the wheel straight without doing a full alignment, which i dont want done. it still has the factory knockouts and the alignment is perfect. dont want them screwing with it. aside from adjusting the tie rods by myself, i wonder if replacing it with an oem part would cure the problem? one would think gm kept some kind of quality control when those were made so they keyslots are in the same place. no?

Cez★ 03-10-2010 07:53 PM

well in writting it sounds right but

---------- Post added at 12:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:53 PM ----------

which reminds me. i need to fix mine. fucking thing is WAY off

SarkOzy 03-10-2010 07:56 PM

maybe i should find a mexi-chanic to do it. FIWDIL. firestone has told me twice that because of the mileage they'll have to replace virtually my entire front suspension, which is bs. all the parts that wear are almost new. honestly it wouldnt be THAT hard to do at home in the garage. just set the wheel straight and lock it, then adjust the tierods equal turns until the tires line up straight again.

2005_Silverado 03-10-2010 07:56 PM

chriz...should work...get vatozone replacement and compare to oem...if they the same...return vatozone one and keep the one u haz right nao

Cez★ 03-10-2010 07:58 PM

:truestory: i think you need some spechal tewl to do it though

theholycow 03-10-2010 07:58 PM

To hell with firestone. FIWDIL. Adjust the tie rods, just adjust both exactly the same amount.

Cez★ 03-10-2010 07:58 PM

I haz vatozone replacement on truck now. it's off just a little compared to oem. they don't sell an ac delco replacement there. so i'd have to order one from rockauto and hope it's right.

2005_Silverado 03-10-2010 08:01 PM

i was just saying u could buy another vz one...go to dealer and compare to oem...but if oem has to be special order, then that no work.

1.buy vz arm
2.compare to acd unit w/o buying
3.return vz if acd unit quality is good
4.???
5.prawfet
