Life hacks (was: That last sliver of soap (and other frugalities))
When the bar of soap is getting too thin to use, don't throw it out. Wet it and wet the new bar then stick them together. It works even better if they've both just been exposed to a long hot shower.
What small frugality tips do you have? |
I usually just use it until i cant hold it no more, I never thought of putting them together, when i eat something with sauce and i have bread i use teh bread to soak up teh remaining sauce

fuck. I stick cheap soap in the microwave and it will make it about 5-10 times its size but just dont leave it in too long or it will explode in the microwave. |
Unwise microwave experiments FTW.

Not sure if this fits, but if something is broken, rather then throwing it away, I super glue it. Super glue is the shit. Never leave home with out it ;)
