Well, for starters, yesterday one of Leslie's good friends decided to commit suicide. Over a girl from what I've been told. His roommate found him and by all accounts is was pretty gruesome. She and her friends are decidedly torn up over that. There's no worse feeling than being 300 miles away and having no way to comfort her sans a phone. On top of that it was discovered later that day her grandmother needs heart surgery immediately. That's happening today. :/

Damn, never mind the spare tranny idea. This is pretty bad. The suicide is bad enough but then to add the stress and concern of a grandmothers heart surgery on top of it? :( I wish Les, her friends, and her family well with all of that.

Yeah, it would be a beater and I'd still have my full size. As long as I get regular cab 2wd 4 cylinder I'll have to drive my full size sometimes, which will be reason to keep it. Plus, that's the way it would get the good fuel economy it needs to save money but still pay for its own insurance costs instead of just DDing my full size.
