So I went to a pull-it-yourself style junkyard and looked for a car that might have the bellhousing I'm going to need. No luck.

When I got home it got really dark out. A couple fat rain drops landed on my windshield as I was pulling into my driveway. By the time I got out of the car it was coming down like a firehose. I left all my crap in the car and hurried in.

Then I remembered the electronics that were in the truckbed. I ran outside and put them in the camper (which was right next to the truck). They ought to be fine after they dry out.

I have a rather large bottle of some clear alcohol in my freezer, unidentified. I couldn't smell anything by opening the bottle. I poured some and I can smell it in a glass. It smells faintly like rubbing alcohol.

I put a freezer pop in the glass of vodka, thinking it would melt on contact with alcohol. After all, alcohol is used as a de-icer for windshields and roads. Anyway, it didn't melt...and it looks like orange turds.
