Fucking auto parts stores.

1. Car Quest - I walk in and guy is counting his cash drawer. He says "just a minute". He says it every five minutes for a half hour. Finally his co-worker makes him snap out of it and he tries to help. He suggests buying a straight piece of fuel line and bending it how I need. He can't bend one without kinking it. FAIL.

2. C-A-P - Tried to bend a straight piece using a tool and fails. Sells me a straight piece, promising that the gas station across the street can bend it. They can't.

3. Autozone - Wants to sell me a straight piece. Says that I should be able to just bend it.

4. Napa - closed by the time I got there. If carquest jerk had tried to help me immediately then I would have gotten to Napa on time.

Yeah, I was thinking sand might do it, or ice. I once read a really good procedure for doing the job but I don't know how to find it.

ive made copper coils for "stuff" like that before. you have to pack the sand in tight and crimp both ends though so the sand doesnt shift.
