Most of the endemic mammals in this country have been wiped out or pushed to near extinction since Europeans arrived. Taking animals for legitimate reasons is not what I'm arguing about, killing them for the sake of them being a "nuisance" is just plain wrong.

God forbid someone put forth a LITTLE effort relocate the animals versus killing them. :nono:

yeahhhhhh maaaaaaaaaaaan

I can't understand his argument of them destroying his house. We have 50,000,000 squirrels here and they NEVER get into the house. Ever.

Just recently discovered a fox squirrel living in the magnolia at the end of our property. It's freaking HUGE. First one I've seen this year.

I live in FL and have had squirrel, possum, raccoons and reptiles in my yard and where I grew up you can add deer to that list as well. Its nature. The only ones that we were concerned about were the possums and raccoons because of how close they would come and what they can possibly carry.

Had a pet squirrel too. Found him when he was just a baby after a hurricane. He was awesome.

Maybe it's because I've had these animals as pets I get so pissy about someone wanting to kill them. :jester:

These were small. Actually had their shots too. Sounded like dogs running around the house. They're very clean animals too. Preen constantly like cats.
