Well, wife won't do it. That's ok, I have a plan. I realized the that end of a small Pepsi bottle is exactly the right diameter and shaped properly to guide it, like a die made perfectly for this bend. I filled it up with water and it's in the freezer now. I'll fill the tube with sand and I think I can bend it without kinking.
