i just tap mine on the ground and let the bugs and shit fall off...pero hasnt cleaned it with K&N solution in 15K miles....reason I ask is cuz WW be getting SHITTY mpg...like 12-15mpg :down:

Pero I went back to regular Wix filter last time I changed it. Notice ZERO difference lol. Plus it keeps me injectors and shit nice and clean versus with the k&n they were always oily and dirty.

i got like 360 miles to my last tank versus normal 450+ :whoa:

I use the same gas...costco brand. No sputtering during idle to indicate a dirty MAF, just a sudden drop in MPG....same driving conditions/style too. Im gonna clean the air and replace the fuel filter this weekend. Gonna pull some plugs and make sure the gaps are good too. I remember R&Ring me 00 RCSBs plugs and most of them had lost the platinum disk on the electrode causing th gaps to be all over the place....maybe WW has same issue.

A clogged filter doesn't affect fuel economy.

My MAF took a shit in November. Was annoying as fuck.

Has it been noticeably hotter? My mileage went to shit as soon as it got over 85 degrees and was in the mid to upper 90s last week. That's ALL due to winter blend.

interesting...they mention if affects acceleration, not mpg. So if I has to press me gas pedal more to accelerate like before...doesnt it indirectly affect mpg? :think:
