dont do it THC. R12 is NASTY stuff. 134a will do just fine. you can get adapters from og shops sometime that let you charge an R12 system with 134a. otherwise you need a screw on adapter for the low pressure port. those WILL leak though. i have all me dad's stuff so i can measure the charge for WL.

There's more to the issue than simply whether I can get the juice into the pipes or not. R12 has different cooling and lubrication characteristics, and doesn't perform as well in R12 systems as R12 does (nor as well as R134a does in R134a systems).
