What's the deal with that GMFS thread? Jeff deleted everything in question, I guess...just looks like a basic for sale thread now.

People have mentioned that Jeff can be flaky at times. I think I had a run-in with him once but I can't remember what it was about.

JayBo 12-02-2009 02:58 PM

GMFS is not the same as it used to be. Nowhere close.
I used to LOVE it and was basically addicted to it at one time or another. Now, I don't give a shit.

FYI, I just found out that my papers JUST got filed yesterday. Now this shit will be dragged out to after the first of the year. FML.

SarkOzy 12-02-2009 02:59 PM

...and that's another year's taxes you'll have to involve her in. :(

So, last night I wrote most of my presentation. I still have to do some work on it and it's due at 4:00 today. I was going to squeeze it in during the day. I got here and one of our internet connections is down, so I'll be babysitting that all day. FML.

JayBo 12-02-2009 03:31 PM

Win! I was thinking he wouldn't be officially divorced this year.

Cez★ 12-02-2009 04:29 PM

Jshake: cool eddiez. i learned in eco class but did them all faast forgot most of it

2005_Silverado 12-02-2009 04:32 PM

if he gets divorced 1/5/10....come tax time for that year, hes gonna file single. Hes gonna have to file married this year if it goes past 12/31 though :( Might be a good thing since he wasnt taxed as single for the year and probably didnt have the correct amount of taxes pulled from his checks. Might not matter if he itemizes and has a nice fat refund each year though. I think its best to start the year at new filing status...just split the refund however you want and be done with it.

Yesterday was the 1st and the papers were delivered to the Clerk of Court's office as I was standing there when they were hand delivered. THey MUST by Ga state law sit in her office for 30 days, then can be submitted to the Superior Court Judge who will sign them and it's a done deal. So with 31 days in this month its gonna be very, very close.

Now that is, unless they go by the date we both signed which was last Tuesday...

BillyJeanKing 12-02-2009 04:36 PM

the 31 days won't work

christmas and all

Cez★ 12-02-2009 04:38 PM

JayBo 12-02-2009 04:38 PM

Hmm, looks like its 30 days from the day the papers were served...
