I didn't use Vista for long but there may be a way to rollback the driver using the Vista disk or some kind of safe mode.
shake. theres this that seems to work. im guessing you do this on safe mode since i cant get on normally? im going to print alot of stuff out and see if any of it works

On XP I its F8 afaik, not sure about vista. I hope that registry change helps you but I think it only works if you get that problem after changing the settings on your SATA drives. I doubt you were changing drive settings were you?

Cez, its worth a try, from what I can tell, that registry entry shouldn't hurt anything.
