With the 899 one you get a free 15" Coby LCD TV, it has internet connectivity if you care, and it has a headphone jack. The headphone jack is important if you want to plug some computer speakers or something into it for nicer sound. The 799 only has optical audio out.

we usually don't turn it crazy high, but the speakers sound so much better than stock speakers at any volume. The speakers on the zamzung are supposedly "surround sound" with "bass and treble" and whatever BS they tell you but in reality not so great. Not horrible but my used $30 Logitech speakers/sub are hella better lol
