I may brah. In perfect world I would buy a car and keep the truck as mah toy/project pero I just don't haz the moneys for that. :(

Cez★ 06-02-2010 09:16 PM

youz not payin for it right? just take off insurance and leave parked? imo :bawl:

stonehenge 06-02-2010 09:20 PM

No wey then I'd have to pay for the car out of pocket. I want to sell the truck and use the money to pay for the car. I wouldn't mind paying for insurance/plates on both but don't haz the money to buy car without selling truck. Wish I did.

stonehenge 06-02-2010 09:25 PM

We'll see how it goes. I know I may miss it a little but the car just makes SO much more sense.

I've heard that the specs listed are NOT correct but the pics are legit.

2005_Silverado 06-02-2010 09:44 PM

brah, sc works off engine pulley...turbo off exhaust  turbo usually has either gravity fed oiling or own pump...sc has its own oil like axle...just pump/drain and refill

no kb :(

Me and my wife are gonna go check it out after work. If we like it and don't notice any issues then tomorrow I'll bring my dad to check it out and see if he notices anything I didn't.

Also going to see if they'll give me a quote for my truck as a trade in so I can think about that. I hope the silver/tan one is better condition because I like it better than the blue one lol

The L67 is the supercharged version of the Series II L36 and appeared in 1996, one year after the normally-aspirated version. It uses the Eaton Generation III M90 supercharger with a 3.8" pulley, a different throttle body, fuel injectors, cylinder heads, and lower intake manifold than the L36 uses. Both engines share the same engine blocks, but compression is reduced from 9.4:1 in the L36 to 8.5:1 for the L67. Power is up to 240 hp (180 kW) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque. Final drive ratios are reduced in most applications, for better fuel economy and more use of the engine's torque in the low range. The engine was built in Flint, Michigan.

So 96 be best in that generation of Park Avenues then because 97 started a new body style from what I read earlier.

2005_Silverado 06-02-2010 10:20 PM

sounds like a bamf cruiser

18/27 mpg rating back then

stonehenge 06-02-2010 10:25 PM

:word: my truck is rated at 17 freeway. take 1 or 2mpg away for the big tires :jester:

Gonna take a good look at it today and hopefully take for test drive

Don't expect beast mode but omg normal acceleration will be nice after 5.0+stockgears+305s and 1.6L Nizz
