Unfortunately it isn't the Droid's issue, it is Verizon's network. The Verizon/Sprint type of network technology (CDMA) doesn't support both transferring at once. The other type (GSM) supports both. That include AT&T and T-Mo. So no phone patch can fix it. That's just how it is. :shrug:

I had an ipod touch and that + 3g/phone still wouldn't beat my droid. I like the Droids browser better, the ability to modify more things (I'm running a different keyboard, sms/mms app, and homescreen than stock). iPhone is too locked down for me. I like to mess with my electronics lol

I had it jailbroken but you still can't mess with apples core apps like the texting app, keyboards, music player, etc. It is definitely better jailbroken but still can't compare. If you don't like to change things and customize your stuff then an iPhone is fine. They are NOT crap phones, I just like my Droid a LOT better.
