We back. He swapped in the same engine. It's a 00 Venture and he got the engine from a Rendezvous. However, the Venture was originally from Cali so it had extra emissions shit on it and the computer was programmed to check for said extra emissions parts. The Rendezvous engine wasn't from CA so it didn't have all the extra stuff and installing all those parts requires drilling into the block and he wasn't cool with that. So he found the VIN of another van NOT from Cali and had a local shop flash the computer with that vans programming. So now the computer VIN doesn't match the van, but we just found out that emissions doesn't check that. PASSED suckas
