I think it was from an older S10 or an Astro. It's almost, but not quite, the correct tranny. That said, here's the things that were hacked:
- Speedometer not hooked up, because tranny is mechanical speedo and truck is electronic speedo
- Reverse lights not hooked up. I plugged what looked like a reverse light wire (dangling near tranny) into what looked like a reverse light socket but no luck. I didn't check if there are bulbs in there, though...
- Shifter in slightly wrong position, rag used as a grommet to prevent it rubbing against sheet metal edge of hole.

Oh...IIRC, Siberian Husky won't alert on your strangers, he'll just make friends with them and lead them to your jewelry.

Chris, I drove it and it shifts great. The ratios felt closer than I expected but I think they'll feel better with a 2.73 rear end. 5th is decently tall, I couldn't get the truck into 5th on my slow ride home except on a long straightaway where I wasn't in fear of needing to use the non-functional brakes.

I think the centering spring is messed up, it doesn't feel quite right when I push it to the left (but it feels right pushing to the right)...but I don't really care. I'll still open it up and look at it when I drop it.

Jay, I can deal with basic HTML from 1998, not so great with modern stuff...whatcha got?

Working on the school webpage, and I'm kind of stumped.

Notice on the left bottomof the page, the Powerschool and Emaill have no boxes around them like the rest of the screen. The weather widget on the right hand side needs tobe like that.

There is basic HTML on the PS and Email boxes, but a reallllly long script for the weather one. I can't figure out how to make it dissappear

So it's going in the buick, correct? Shit I'd LOVE to find a 5speed S10 or S15(gmc) to shit around in. Those little fuckers would get over 25mpg

I wish I had just built this whole thing HTML. I can type it out faster than I can find these goofy checkboxes. Now I have to align the widget to the right of the screen ...:hmm:
