i ended up getting a case plus two quarts of fluid for $33. :high5: I last changed it in September and put ~24-25K miles on it since then. stuff was NASTY

lol nice, i got the ls1 for 900 complete with 70k on it.

Ive already opened it up and its super clean inside no gunk at all.

Plus i pulled the intake assembly and oil pan so i can run my truck stuff and sold those things for 300. time for a cam now lol

:drool: What cam and shit are you going to run? Do you know of anyone running an actual LS1 in their truck? Is a wireing harness going to be a bitch?

Its a direct swap just like swapping a in 6.0 nothing is different. The motor is .3 smaller but its also 100 lbs lighter. Probably gonna go with the tr224 cam with ls6 springs and 7.4 rods.

and yes theres a lot of guys on pt net and ls1 truck with them. One guy with a ext cab runs 12s on motor
