They won't mount on a 2 Door Ranger and Ford doesn't offer conversion brackets....just a heads up. Prefer a So-Cal buyer, but will ship if you cover freight. Asking $100 O.B.O. I will also trade these for OEM Side Steps for the 2 door Ranger. Any questions, feel free to ask!

sent him a pm asking what be his best price....

What's the problem? He fucked up and wants to sell them at a price that he thought was reasonable to buy them at...

---------- Post added at 06:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:06 PM ----------

...and you PM'd him to ask for an offer, why would he offer something different than what he posted?

Kinda :retard: :imo

Well ours include m2m and unl after 9 and free on weekends pero $37 be bamf deal. If you guys had it, would be $12 cheaper cuz no 3rd line and then if you didn't need 700, you could prob go lower. Other then that... vzw is def not sheep :blah:

The tard said OBO. Not wanting to change price at all is NOT obo.

theholycow 04-27-2010 11:13 PM

:taloco:

You didn't O, how can he accept or refuse your O as the BO?

stonehenge 04-27-2010 11:15 PM

Then he should have said "make me an offer and we'll go from there", NOT "To be honest I really would not want to go lower on the price.".

That says he doesn't give a shit what O you give.

theholycow 04-27-2010 11:20 PM

:fp: Your complaint is that he posted OBO, you did not make an offer, and you expect him to make another offer? I don't think you know how haggling works.

stonehenge 04-27-2010 11:30 PM

I understand that Eddie probably could have included an offer in his original communication, that is not what I am referring to. The fact that the guy put OBO (meaning he is at least a little flexible on price) and then tells Eddie that he doesn't want to go lower at all is retarded.

2005_Silverado 04-27-2010 11:36 PM

cao no like me way of thinking

brah, I asked what his best price was cuz he says OBO...OBO to me, means hes willing to deal on them...aka, his price aint firm (very reasonable to think this I think). I dont expect him to come down 50% pero not to tell me "nah, thats my price"....then why bother with the "OBO?"

Another example of OBO fail....ebay seller has item for 35 + shipping, OBO. I offer 25...he comes back with a counter of 33 :blah: WHY THE FUCK BOTHER WITH OBO FOR 2 F-U-C-K-I-N-G DOLLARS? :pissedfist:

theholycow 04-27-2010 11:38 PM

Meh. He doesn't want to go, as in offer, lower.

I suspect that if it's up for a few days and someone waves a close offer in his face he'll go for it easily.

---------- Post added at 06:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:36 PM ----------

:fp:
OBO = Or Best Offer. You make an offer or he can't choose a best offer!

eBay guy at 35, you offer 25, he offers 33, you offer 30, he ships. That's called haggling.

---------- Post added at 06:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:37 PM ----------

If I advertise stuff, I'll need to remember to inflate the price and put OBO instead of asking for how much I want.

stonehenge 04-27-2010 11:39 PM

fkn cao

2005_Silverado 04-27-2010 11:40 PM

just a BIG turn off to me to see "OBO" and when u ask for best price or make offer, they dont budge or just lower u a dollar or two relative to item price :suicide2: dont bother with the obo part if youre not willing to take less at the moment...maybe start at "100 firm" if it doesnt sell, then go "100 obo" if it doesnt sell, go 90 obo
