totally overheated WL coming home today. FML. started smoking and shit. seems to be okay now. ive given up on keeping it cool.

i can drive up and down mountains in 90 degree weather and never see 210 on the gauge. i can idle in traffic with the ac on full blast and it never gets over 210.

BUT if it's over 90 outside and im running at a steady 65-70mph or greater, within 20 miles im at 230, today it got into the red area around 240-260 before i could get off the highway. ac was OFF. piece of shit. seems like after it gets heatsoaked it cant cool itself off. ive tried EVERYTHING in the past 2 years to fix it. nothing works. FML

have you tried any of the coolant additive like water wetter my old boss was big into old muscle cars and swore by the stuff he did a lot of parades and shit and had cooling issues until he started using that kind of stuff

tied everything under the sun. my only theory left is i have some sort of high speed airflow issue. dunno. everything is still stock up there.
