Checked compressor and bish was CLEAN. Looked brand new. Then figured out that PO must have converted it from R12 to R134a :high5: so we refilled it for now. I can't find any leaks anywhere so dunno why it ran out of refridgerant :shrug: pero if it needs a can a year, that is fine lol

Also tightened up some things underneath that looked loose, tightened a power steering hose and topped that bish off (was starting to whine :uhoh:).

Did I tell you gaiz about the starter randomly not working? Mi pawpz was home so I asked him to help me replace it (he has done it before, I didn't even know where it was) and when he got here, it started every time. :blahclap: we found out that the battery terminals/connectors were kinda nasty so cleaned those bishes out good, maybe that was the issue :fp:

me a/c compressor on WL is making more racket than usual as of late. pretty sure the ghetto condenser has a leak though. got it from a junkyard after WL met a deer at 65mph

Only problem with Nizz nao is POSSIBLE starter issue (HOPEFULLY the cable/post cleaning fixes it :chuy:) and a relay on the blower. Right now only High and Off work on the AC :roflmao: which is fine for now. Pero is easy fix.

You can still get R12 but it's not easy to find. They can't manufacture it anymore but it still gets recycled. Junkyards and scrapyards aren't allowed to vent it, they have to send it to a recycler whether anyone wants to buy it or not.

R12 is the refrigerant that used to be used in A/C, refrigerators, etc. It was replaced by R134a in (IIRC) the early 1990s. It was one of the chemicals blamed for the ozone hole.
