upgrading your stats so confusing in this game

12 gauge does work awesome super close, it fucks up ghouls.

Go to the Super Duper Mart or whatever it's called near Lexington for a shit ton of corn/melons/gourds and shit to plant plus a ton of other stuff. Bring the shotgun though, tons of ghouls inside.

Want so many perks. Theres one that links all your workshops so you have materials in all places. Also the blacksmith/armorer/gunnut ones. Radiation healing is nice. Strong back dfw.

I totally forgot about the weapon workshop. I just went and made a BAMF shotgun, pistol, and sniper. They are so much better now. Just wrecked two raiders with power armor in Lexington city a minute ago.

Long barrel shotgun is so much better than the sawed off.

I use the middle length (short?) barrel on the shotty.

My mods that I made to mine made the accuracy/distance go up and the spread tighten, so you might not like it. That's how I always like shotguns in games though, tight spread and really strong but have to aim it really well. Sucks if you miss your two shots though lol.

Now I need to mod some of my armor and make it stronger.

Have had to pause game like 4 goddamn fucking times to be everyones chauffuer. Annoying as fuck. Already drive every day and have to do it for free on weekends.


In between driving through one side of houston ive done some missions, found brotherhood of steel, got a new core, a grenade launcher of sort, the junk jet. Made it to diamond city. Encountered my first super mutants and their suicidal boyfriends too.

haven't played yet today, been moving furniture around apartment, now I'm gonna relax a little and then go to dinner

You can get a fatman off of one of the raiders using power armor in Lexington. He's up in a building with a walkway and a Nuka Cola sign on it.

Make sure he uses all his ammo though, because I got blown the fuck up the first time I found him.

BTW, long barrel on shotgun ended up fucking me over because the hip fire is worse, had to go back to short barrel. Putting a different sight on it helps the accuracy without the gay ass drawback though.

I have a machine pistol now with a drum magazine after putting a point into gun nut 1 that is fucking awesome.

Oh and if you haven't, check the roof top of the industrial plant. At the very top on one of the walkways is a bobblehead.

Killed my first 2 legendaries in Lexington. Both ghouls. One in the supermarket, one under the parking garage. Both gave me leather armor. One a chest that gives me +25 poison resist, one a leg thst increases lockpicking sweet spot. Pocketed and studded them, wearing them now.

Found a Tommy gun somewhere too. In the factory I think.

Yesss. They give you little perks or increase stats and you can build a Bobblehead Stand to hold them at your house.

is there a way to charge the core for power suits or are you left collecting them?

I think collect only. Idk, like I said I havent really used the suit. Just do it live with my studded leather armor so far lol
