There was a new rocklside on I40 in NC yesterday. THey're still cleaning up from the slide last October. NCDOT says the highway may reopen in March, but others are saying April/May. FML FML FML FML

I have a 9hp generator in my backyard in case of extended power outage. It's my dad's but he doesn't have any place to keep it and he hasn't needed to use it on jobsites in years. Where I live it's more rural so we can expect more extended power outages.

Well, I've lived here 4 1/2 years and never needed it. Once power was out for most of a day and I didn't bother with it.

I try to run it once a month to keep it from seizing up. Last time I ran it I forgot to cover it again when I was done. It got a few weeks of rain and weather. I saw that today.

A couple weeks ago I threw my Christmas tree in the backyard, intending to burn it.
