Right after I upgraded to Froyo, my wife and I got into an argument and she smashed my phone.

Went to two VZW stores, plea bargaining, to no avail. Didnt expect much, and didnt get much. Dude told me some crazy stuff like "we can add a second line on your phone and get you a $200-some-odd price."

I'm looking online and Bestbuy has Droid for $99 with "new 2 year contract." I don't plan on going anywhere but verizon anytime soon...so that really does bother me. My question is...is this a true price? Or is new 2 year contract only for new verizon wireless customers?

Is it is truly $99 for me, an existing verizon customer, how the heck are Best buy able to charge so much less?!?!

wan...help...i forgot to put the 3 files...baseband...kernell and chaos on sdcard before starting...i got out of nandroid...put files in there now need help installing zips :help: como?

Okay so right now you haz froyo without goodies? Just go back into recovery (go into rom manager, might need to flash clockwork again, then choose reboot into recovery) then go to install zip from sdcard.

can i just power up holding x and install zips? i haz froyo pero no baseband, kernel or chaos...porke no see rom manager in me apps :(

Yeah you can boot up w/ X, forgot froyo no comes with RM stock :fp:

The other 2 zips worked? Cuz if so, then yeah prolly it just didn't download right.

Yeah with froyoz you haz to activate once. Is it doing it automatically? If not, dial *228 and choose option 1.

Actually, don't think its Froyo that makes you do that, I think it's the baseband.
