lots of them out there...I paid a lot for mine, but it had incredibly low miles. Its an 05 Edge 4dr 3.0 auto and had 16K when I got it for 10,5 or 11k. KBB was 13-14...Im at 26K right now and KBB is 11-13K. The higher mileage, older, 4 cyl, manual trans, reg cabs are WAY cheap.

Yup, that's what I'm seeing. I could DD a 2WD 4 banger 5MT regular cab, I'd just have to get creative with interior space by removing the center console (or replacing the bench with buckets) and installing a floating armrest (supported like a shelf I guess).

Ever worked on a computer owned by a heavy smoker? You turn it on and it stinks up the whole room. You open it up and it's got this nasty yellow sticky dust all over everything, shorting stuff out.

THC, both my brothers and my dad have had/have rangers in the 200K+ mile range and they are fine. Both my brothers have had 2.3L or 3.0 5MTs getting over 23mpgs.

It really is incredibly nasty working on a smoker's computer, could make someone puke.

I'll get well over 30mpg from a 2.3 5MT Ranger, maybe 35. EPA rating is 20/26 (or 21/24 depending on year); I get over 40 from my VW which is rated 22/28.

Cez★ 11-25-2009 04:19 PM

:puke: thinking about it

Luckily I've never had to. Everything I've worked on has been in an environment where smoking indoors isn't allowed and I guess I haven't got lucky enough to get a smoker's laptop yet lol

lets hope so, these lil trucks arent known for their mpgs, more of a "you can beat the shit out of it and it'll still run" kinda truck. I do get 20mpg out of my 5AT 3.0 with 4.10s though...but I had to get an efan and underdrive crank pulley for that
