Won't work like that. It looks like there's space for them there but there's not. The end result would be that they're entirely on top of the bumper and in front of the grill, and would look absolutely terrible on this car.

if this was my car i would trim the bumper some take out the huge turn signals convert to fogs/turn signal combo
---------- Post added at 02:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:20 AM ---------- in fact you could just take out one signal bulb install a 55w bulb with a switch and have fogs and signal.

idk why you would want a drl on a 1981 car but the outside could be just the same as the inside its a bulb blinker in both lights
---------- Post added at 02:38 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:37 AM ---------- if it was mine it would be sbb or turbo powered

I'd mount them up and check the beam position to find the best location.........possible to take out the front tag bolts and use those to mount the lights? It's gonna be ugly anyways, so make it easily removeable.

I went with option 1.
I spent way too long and struggled way too hard drilling into my bumper. At first I thought it was the hardest metal known to man...then I found my good drill bits and realized that the ones I was using were awful. Quote:
These are rectangular. Quote:

No. I will eventually get back into taking it out for vacations though, if I ever have money before it rots to uselessness.
