wife had the xperia play it was a really good phone. picked up excellent. so i prob give this a go. the htc inspire i have is ok. but its nothing to write home about.

everyone I've ever known with an HTC had some sort of problem with it. Batteries too small, hardware problems, software problems, shitty build quality, etc. Although it's usually just one of those things, not all of them.

Would try a Sony if they had any decent ones on VZW.

Calls VZW. Got nice lady who said the leap year deal is only online. She'd give me an early upgrade at $299.99. So I made emo voice and she said she could give me an extra $60 discount. Told her I had to check funds so she is calling me back in 20 mins. Gonna do it, $239.99 is only $10 more than wirefly and I can get it asap.

Oh and the callback thing is because she said only certain call centers are allowed to offer early upgrades (this woman didn't even have to ask a manager before she told me yes). If I called back, I would get a random call center and maybe not one that is allowed. She also said even if I did get one that let me upgrade, they wouldn't give me the extra $60 off.

Not sure wtf kinda discount that $60 is but DFW

Eddeh, since you have an actual upgrade available, you can get it for $199 through the website. I had to pay moar because only the phone peeps could give me an early upgrade and they aren't doing the $100 off deal.
