read that people who bought ex police vehiculars have found holes in the top of the gas tank because they installed equipment in the trunk and drilled won into the gas tank they had po455 but yours isn't ex cop so it isn't that.

Some CELs come from something that's a constant problem under constant surveillance. Those will come back immediately.

Some come from something that is tested on a schedule. Those will come back on that schedule.

Some come from something that is tested under certain conditions. Those will come back only when those conditions are met. For example, a P0440 is not tested if the gas tank is full or empty, or when it's between 1/4 and 3/4 full. Another might only be tested when the engine is cold, or when it's up to temp. Etc.

Some CELs come from something that's a flaky problem. If it's under constant surveillance then it will come back the first time the problem manifests again. If not then it might happen multiple times before it coincides with the test.

Forgot it's P0455. That's evap, not fuel pressure. It might measure pressure in the fuel tank/evap system, but that's on the other side of the pump, not the pressurized side. Evap/fuel tank pressure codes specifically are only tested when the tank is about half full, and some other stuff.

When the leak test is performed, the vehicle must have been sitting for at least four to eight hours so that the engine temperature and outside air temperature are identical. There must also be between 15 and 85 percent fuel in the tank—this is to provide a baseline for the test since gasoline and diesel are volatile fluids that expand and vaporize easily with warm temperatures.

I don't know the technical terms but the fuel pump is between the engine and the fuel tank (systemically speaking; physically it's in the fuel tank). The fuel pump pulls from the tank which is mainly unpressurized (except a few psi during evap system tests), and pressurizes the fuel lines/injectors to 50psi (or 20psi or 90psi, it differs by system). So, you've got the (mostly) unpressurized storage side (the tank) and the pressurized delivery side (the lines/injectors).

Your code is about the tank/evap system (vent valve, purge valve, canister, hoses, fuel tank pressure sensor)/filler neck/cap/fuel pump seal/fuel pump's structural condition (but not its ability to pump). At the moment I can't think of anything else for that list.
