Router was being a POS, needing power cycling every now and then, not being fast enough for what I'm paying for from Cox. Saw someone mention this ASUS router from TMo.

Details:

* You have to pay $25 deposit that is refunded in a year.
* You have to send it back if you stop using it.
* It prioritizes TMo WiFi calls if there is not enough bandwidth for the call and whatever else is going on.

Other than that it is a bamf 3-antenna 2.4ghz and 5ghz router. It has a USB 3.0 port in the back to share out a USB drive to your devices, it has VPN built in, you can change all the settings like the non-TMo version, etc. It doesn't put out a TMo signal that anyone can use, it just prioritizes calling so only people who have your WiFi password can use it. You won't have neighbors using your bandwidth to make calls.

So far so good. Its called a CellSpot Router.

Is Ferd coming out with a new compact or mid-size pickup? I saw a truckload of vehicles with what looked like a compact/mid-size pickup that was definitely Ford, definitely straight from the factory (complete with plastic shipping crud stuck to spots and no rust), and didn't look like an F-150 (in case my momentary glance was wrong about general size). The side and rear looked like a smaller version of Ford or GM HD type of styling.

I had my own router and modem (separate). Modem I replaced fairly recently because old one took a shit. So it's a DOCSIS 3 Motorola. My router was a cheap Netgear from several years ago.

Yeah, I kept my old modem (Motorola Surfboard) until it started misbehaving. Cox also offered me 150mbps for the same price I was paying for 50mbps so FIDIL. New modem got me more fasts and replaced a dying one. Then I found out how cheap/slow my router really was lol

Every page I click has a different year listed from 2015 Ranger to 2019 lol. I guess Ford already sells them everywhere else in the world but will be bringing them to the US soon. Idk if that's what you saw though.
