BTW, started SAO and I think it's better than some people say. A lot tend to hate on it for stupid shit but if you're a gamer I think it makes the show much more enjoyable.

I know some people act like SAO is the second coming of christ, it's a good show but jesus.

But really, the characters are standard fare. The "I'm in a RPG" aesthetic is the only thing that sets it apart, which isn't a bad thing.

And why the fuck would otaku's like Kirito?!? Wouldn't be Asuna? Regardless I can't stand these gangly characters designs, Kirito looks like someone fucking drew my own skinny ass body into the show.

The reason I like it so much is cause I read the light novels. They are hundreds of times better than the anime, but the anime isn't bad.

Watching stuff in Japanese gives more...character to the character if that makes sense. It's weird to explain. I guess it flows better or something. Characters in dubs usually don't have the voice you would imagine them to have.
